Description
By building new public toilets in the basement of the cultural center building, the city of Kopřivnice is responding to the long-term demand of citizens and visitors to the city for accessible hygiene facilities in the center. The newly built public toilets will offer a modern and clean environment. An anti-vandal design was chosen, which will ensure higher durability and also facilitate toilet maintenance. The public toilets are equipped with an automatic locking system that opens them every day at 6 a.m. and closes them at midnight. Modern sanitary technology has been installed that meets economic and ecological requirements in terms of water and energy consumption. The equipment includes contactless flushing control, self-cleaning elements and sensor lighting. The entire space is completely barrier-free, including a specially adapted cabin for people with reduced mobility, which also includes a baby-changing table. The men’s toilets offer 2 cubicles and 3 urinals, the women’s 4 cubicles. The sinks are shared.
