DSO 01B disinfection station with ford and turnstile

DSO 01B is a disinfection station with guard rails which, together with a turnstile and an ADR hand-disinfection unit (automatic hand disinfection), ensures hygiene and restricts access to the controlled area.

When entering the protected area, personnel cannot pass through without disinfecting their hands. The built-in system responds when both hands are inserted simultaneously into the unit, where an aerosol spray is applied automatically. Once the specified procedure is completed, the green indicator illuminates, the turnstile is released and the person may proceed. Sensors in both hand openings monitor correct completion of the disinfection procedure. If disinfection is not completed correctly (e.g. if the hands are withdrawn before the full disinfectant spray cycle is complete), passage through the turnstile is not permitted. The procedure must be repeated. The person may enter the controlled area through the turnstile only after the green indicator illuminates.

Passage through the turnstile in the opposite direction is not controlled.

The disinfection station with guard rails is designed for freestanding floor installation and has adjustable feet for levelling uneven floors. It is available in right- or left-hand versions according to the direction of passage.

The stainless steel ford with guard rails disinfects work footwear as personnel pass through the station. Its design allows the waste outlet to be routed above floor level. The footbath can be drained by removing the overflow. Removable gratings facilitate maintenance and cleaning.

The TRM 02 turnstile also has an automatic drop-arm function. In the event of a power failure, the arm drops to the vertical position. It must be returned to its original position manually (the turnstile must be energised).

The unit is manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel and must not be operated in chemically aggressive environments. Cleaning products containing chlorine must not be used. WÜRTH products for stainless steel care are recommended.

The canister with desinfectant is not included in the delivery.

Recommended disinfectant: Consult the disinfectant supplier when selecting a suitable product. Do not use chlorine-based agents or products that may adversely affect the stainless steel cladding or internal plastic pipework.
