ZAP 1 is a token-operated control intended for regulated usage of washing machine, dryers or other electrical appliances with power requirements referring to the switching abilities of an installed contractor. The power part is not part of the delivery and must be resolved separately in the frame of the electro-installation project.

After inserting tokens into the control, the contactor is switched on and the device is connected to the power supply for a certain period of time. The user can prolong time of the connection to the power supply by inserting more tokens. ZAP 1 adds numbers of inserted tokens, total time of connection to the power supply is derived from the multiple of the number of the tokens inserted and the time/1 token.

ZAP 1 can be used everywhere where a fee for a use of the electrical devices is required, e.g. camps.

The tokens used are of the type ZT 1 and are made of profiled stainless steel metal sheet.
