The ADR 01 is a stainless steel device enabling an automatic disinfection of hands by a spray application of disinfecting solution. An aerosol spray application is automatically carried out after both hands are simultaneously inserted into the slot of the disinfecting device. A green pilot light indicates proper observation of the disinfecting process and the person is allowed to walk through. If the person did not use the disinfecting device properly, a red pilot light turns on and sound signalization is activated. The sound signalization can be turned off by placing both hands into the disinfecting device.

ADR 01.1 and ADR 01.2 versions are equipped with a sensor-controlled cross-bar which monitors disallowed through-pass and activates a sound signalization. The cross-bar is located under the canister with disinfecting solution with the possibility of right or left positing. ADR 01.2 version enables return pass without the necessity of hand disinfection.

A deaeration of the system is necessary when exchanging canisters with disinfecting solution.

The device does not need an outlet for excess disinfecting solution. Solution is spirit-based and evaporates after usage. The ADR 01 is intended to be wall mounted.
